Hydrostatic Testing Services
MEYER-Fabritech offers hydrostatic testing services for well control equipment and BOP hydrostatic pressure testing, all performed in-house at our Houston location. Because we also manufacture and repair the equipment we test, our technicians know exactly what to look for and where failures are most likely to occur. That firsthand knowledge and our extensive BOP expertise mean faster turnaround and fewer surprises when your equipment hits the field. We also handle functional and shear testing under one roof, so you can consolidate your testing needs with a single provider.
Our facilities are fully equipped to perform a variety of tests, including:
- Hydrostatic Testing Services - We perform hydrostatic tests to validate the strength and leak-resistance of your equipment. Both well control equipment hydrostatic pressure testing & BOP Hydrostatic pressure testing is available through MEYER Fabritech.
- Functional Testing - Our functional tests evaluate the proper operation of mechanisms such as opening and closing blowout preventers.
- Shear Testing - We offer shear bonnet assembly and ram block capability testing, as well as bonnet and shear bonnet testing without a body.
